Despite an increasing knowledge of EBM, implementation of EBM in guidelines, health care policies and daily clinical life is a challenge. This course addresses evidence-based medicine from general concepts, asking answerable questions, searching for primary and secondary high level evidence documentation, appraisal of evidence in therapeutics and beyond, an overview of performing a systematic meta-analysis, and implementation of EBM in daily life, instructions and guidelines, and national recommendations. The course will provide the participants with an advanced understanding of EBM to enable them to improve the use of EBM in science, research and clinical activities.
